About the role
Big Bubble retail is seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Shop Assistants to join our team in Midvale, WA ****. This is a
part-time position
offering flexible hours to suit your schedule with possibility to become a full-time position. As a Shop Assistant/Pool Service specialist, delivering exceptional customer service whilst managing pool-related products and services. This role is essential to creating a friendly shopping environment and ensuring our customers receive expert guidance on their purchases.
What you'll be doing
Greeting customers warmly and providing knowledgeable assistance with product selection and recommendations
Processing sales transactions accurately using the till system and handling cash and card payments
Maintaining a clean, organised and visually appealing retail space, including stock rotation and shelf replenishment
Providing expert advice on pool maintenance, chemicals, equipment and seasonal care to ensure customer satisfaction
Assisting with inventory management and stock checks as required
Handling customer enquiries and complaints professionally, working towards swift resolutions
Supporting the team with visual merchandising and promotional activities
Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards throughout the store
What we're looking for
An interest in the mechanics of pool operations (on Job training available)
Strong communication skills with a genuine passion for helping customers
Knowledge of pool maintenance and products,



or willingness to develop expertise in this area all on job training available.
Ability to work flexibly, including potential Saturday shifts
Attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
A positive, can-do attitude with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Reliability and commitment to maintaining excellent customer service standards
