Brix projects are currently recruiting an Estimator for a leading Mid-Tier Civil Contractor experiencing massive growth, based in the West Sydney area.

This is an Excellent opportunity for an experienced Estimator to join a forward-thinking Contractor on a permanent basis in Sydney.

Work with a progressive, and rapid-growing business that rewards initiative.

Due to an increase in the volume of tenders being participated in, and as part of the company's growth strategy,our client is currently seeking an Estimator with 5+ years of experience carrying out civil construction scopes of client work.

As the Estimator, you will have demonstrated experiencein estimating construction works including but not limited to Civils, Pipelines, FRP, Pump Stations, Treatment Plants and Earthworks.

Responsibilities

Utilising your experience and knowledge of construction to develop and complete tenders within dedicated timeframes.

Efficiently review client supplied tender documents to collate MTOs and required information to price works as per schedules, including indirect and preliminary costs.

Raise technical queries and clarifications to management.





Present tenders including pricing and tender construction schedules to management, engaging in technical conversations during tender review meetings.

Produce documentation and attend handover meetings with project managers on award of works.

About You

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction, Quantity Surveyor or a related field.

5+ years of experience working as an Estimator in the civil construction industry.

Experience estimating construction works in Civil sector

Excellent communication skills with proven ability to manage robust relationships with all stakeholders and personnel across the business.

Ability to effectively resolve potential conflicts with quick decision-making skills, and escalated potential issues in a timely manner

Ability to work autonomously or in a team, and attend site meetings.

A robust track record and client relationships.

Works well under pressure and with the ability to meet tight deadlines through effective coordination and leadership of deliverables.

Working knowledge of applicable legislation and standards relevant the civil construction sector.

Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, and Outlook
