Programmed Skilled Workforce is currently seeking Trade Assistants and Accessory Fitters for multiple clients across Brisbane including Archerfield and Eagle Farm. Key Responsibilities
Assisting tradespeople with mechanical assembly, repairs, maintenance and overhaul activities
Vehicle assembly, accessory fitment, and installation of trays, canopies and specialized equipment
Basic mechanical fitting,
servicing and component installation
Assisting with minor wiring and electrical fitment (training provided where required)
Using hand and power tools to complete mechanical tasks
Cleaning, inspecting and preparing parts, tools and equipment
Maintaining a protected, clean and organized workshop
Following quality standards and workplace health and safety procedures
About You
Previous experience as a Trade Assistant, Accessory Fitter, Mechanical Assembler or similar role
Robust mechanical aptitude with experience using hand and power tools
Experience in automotive, heavy vehicle, manufacturing, engineering or workshop environments
Mechanical trade qualification or apprenticeship (highly regarded but not essential)
Reliable with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
Physically fit and able to perform manual handling tasks
Ability to work both independently and within a team
Own tools are advantageous (tool allowance may be available depending on the role)
