The Role
Our client currently has an exciting opportunity for an
Estimator
with experience in estimating Remedial Building projects. You will have experience estimating scopes including: Concrete cancer repair / Concrete spalling repair, Balcony remediation and reinstatement, Waterproofing, Facade upgrades and Structural repair works to join their team. You will desirably have 2 + years experience. Experience in Remedial Building and Waterproofing is essential.
What is on offer for you?
Great salary: $140,000 - $160,000 (base salary) + Superannuation + Car Allowance / Fuel Assistance.

Role Responsibilities
Initial assessment of tenders received to determine size and scope of project
Attend tender meetings
Prepare tender estimates
Read and interpret project documentation, including specifications, drawings and BOQ's
Complete take-offs
Preparation of proposed methodology
Develop strong relationships with all stakeholders
Evaluate sub-contractor and supplier tender documentation
Provide detailed handover of project information to the Construction Team
What are we looking for?
Essential Experience - Minimum 2 years recent experience estimating Remedial Building works -Concrete repair / Concrete spalling, Balcony remediation and reinstatement, Waterproofing, Facade upgrades and Structural repair works.
Tertiary Qualified in Engineering or Construction Management
Understanding of the Remedial Building, Waterproofing and Building Maintenance process
Full Australian working rights - Only considering applicants that are Australian Citizen or Australian Permanent Resident
