Goodline is seeking an experienced and commercially astute Commercial Manager to join our Kawana Operations team on the Sunshine Coast.
This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for developing and implementing Goodline's commercial operating system while overseeing head contracts and subcontracts across the business. Working closely with Project Managers, operational leaders and Contract Administrators, you will establish the systems, processes and controls that drive consistency, accountability and commercial performance, while providing practical guidance and mentoring to build capability, manage risk and support strong project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
Review and manage client contracts and subcontract agreements
Identify and manage contractual risks, obligations and opportunities
Mentor and support Contract Administrators across the business




Develop training and improve commercial systems and processes
Review project forecasts, claims, variations and commercial reporting
Support contract negotiations and dispute resolution
Maintain commercial templates, registers and controls
Provide practical commercial advice to project delivery teams
Conduct site visits and support project teams as required
About You
Experience in commercial management, contract administration or quantity surveying
Robust understanding of construction contracts, variations, claims and forecasting
The ability to review contracts and provide practical commercial advice
Experience developing and mentoring commercial or project personnel
Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills
High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
A reliable, accountable and solutions-focused approach
Relevant qualifications in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Business or a related field
