Go Traffic is a leading provider of traffic management services across Australia with locations throughout NSW, QLD and VIC, employing over 600 people. We are seeking a capable Recruitment & Compliance Officer to join our team and support recruitment, onboarding and workforce compliance across the business.
About the Role
Reporting to the relevant HR and operational leadership team, you will play a key role in supporting recruitment and compliance outcomes for Go Traffic. Based at our Wacol office, this role will manage recruitment from advertising through to commencement, while also coordinating pre-employment checks, onboarding, inductions, portal requirements and desktop compliance audits.
The suitable applicant will need to be available to work Monday to Friday and be comfortable working in a fast-paced operational environment where accuracy, follow-up and clear communication are critical.
Key Areas of Responsibility
End-to-end recruitment across blue-collar and operational roles, including job briefing, advertising, screening, interviewing, offer coordination and onboarding.
Pre-employment checking, including right to work, references, police checks where applicable, drug and alcohol testing, medicals where applicable, licences, tickets and role-specific requirements.
Desktop auditing of employee, candidate, subcontractor and operational compliance records to ensure documentation is complete, current and audit-ready.
Portal and induction management, including upload of worker details, monitoring pending approvals, rejected documents, expired records and outstanding induction actions.
Onboarding administration, including new starter paperwork, induction scheduling, checklist coordination and handover to Payroll, HR and Operations.
Compliance record maintenance,



including tracking required documents, following up outstanding items and escalating gaps to relevant managers or supervisors.
Recruitment and compliance reporting, including vacancy status, onboarding progress, induction completion and compliance exceptions.
Relationship management with hiring managers, supervisors, RTOs, job providers, candidates, training organisations, subcontractors and portal administrators.
Continuous improvement of recruitment, onboarding, induction and compliance processes, templates and trackers.
Skills and Experience
3+ years of recruitment, talent acquisition, HR administration, compliance administration or similar experience.
Experience in blue-collar, labour hire, logistics, construction, civil, traffic management or high-volume operational recruitment will be highly regarded.
Strong administration skills with excellent attention to detail and document control.
Experience with onboarding, inductions, portals, compliance records or desktop auditing processes.
Robust communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to follow up actions professionally and consistently.
Ability to manage multiple vacancies, onboarding actions and compliance deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Excel and Word. Experience with HRIS, ATS, workforce management or compliance systems is advantageous.
Current Australian Driver Licence and right to work in Australia.
