ACC Benalla, is located at Benalla (2hrs north of Melbourne), and is a P-12, co-ed, Christian school. The school is in the middle of an exciting period of growth and development.

About The Role

We are seeking a committed Christian educator with experience in teaching Secondary English. In addition, candidates must have VCE or equivalent Senior Secondary experience and the ability and willingness to teach another method.

This full time position is due to start January ****.

Core Responsibilities & Duties

Plan and implement a range of teaching programs or courses of study;Have the content knowledge and pedagogical practice to meet the diverse needs of all students;Demonstrate a commitment to improving professional practice through coaching and qualified developmentProvide a child safe environment in accordance with the child safe standards;Participate in child safety and wellbeing induction and training provided by the school and always follow the school's child safety and wellbeing policies and procedures;Act in accordance with our Child Safety Code of Conduct;Identify and raise concerns about child safety issues in accordance with our Child Safety Responding and Reporting Obligations Policy and Procedures, including following the Four Critical Actions for Schools;Ensure students' views are taken seriously and their voices are heard about decisions that affect their lives;Model and promote the vision and values of the school;Teach an area of the curriculum to senior year levels;Maintain records of class attendance and recording student progress;Implement effective student management consistent with the school's strategic plan;Attend and participate in staff meetings as required;Be actively involved in regular staff devotions and prayer

Requirements

Qualifications

You have a relevant bachelor degree and any other relevant teaching qualifications (i.e. Masters of Education)You have at least 2 years relevant teaching experienceProof of identityClearance status of the Working with Children Check (where applicable)Registered with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) (or ability to get registration)Statements of service from previous child-connected rolesReferences from previous child-connected roles

Salary

Salary range is $96,421 - $129,968 dependent upon relevant teaching qualifications and experience
