Chef
to join our kitchen team on a full-time basis.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook high-quality Japanese dishes, ensuring all meals are presented and served to a consistently high standard.
Plan and develop seasonal menus while considering food costs, customer preferences, and ingredient availability.
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the kitchen to ensure efficiency and quality.
Supervise,



coordinate and support kitchen staff to maintain a productive and positive working workplace.
Monitor inventory levels, order food supplies and kitchen equipment, and minimise waste.
Ensure compliance with all food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety regulations.
Maintain consistency in food quality, portion control and presentation standards.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
A formal trade qualification in Commercial Cookery.
At least one year of experience preparing Japanese cuisine in a commercial kitchen.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
A genuine passion for Japanese cuisine, food presentation and quality.
A positive, reliable and team-oriented attitude.
