A day in the life...
A new and exciting opportunity has opened for a Journalist to join the 7NEWS team in QLD in what promises to be an exciting year ahead at Seven.
Based in Bundaberg, you will be primarily focused on developing and creating high-standard stories for our bulletin focussed on the Wide Bay/Bundaberg regions. You will be responsible for breaking news stories and creating engaging content as well as contributing to editorial meetings and liaising with the 7Qld regional editor.
What Will You Need
You'll be a driven and energetic Journalist,
with the ability to think clearly and act quickly under pressure, possessing excellent communication skills to collaborate with different stakeholders internally, as well as externally with the local community. You'll be able to work in a fast-paced workplace, with a focus on tight deadlines.
You Will Have
Some experience in television news reporting and producing would be advantageous
First-class people skills
Energetic, self-starter attitude with the ability to think clearly and act quickly under pressure.
Proven editorial skills.
A solid understanding of media law and ethics
A sense of urgency and focus on deadlines
