About the role
We're looking for a skilled and safety-focused
Light Vehicle Mechanic
to play a key role in keeping our fleet running smoothly. You'll be responsible for servicing, diagnosing, and repairing light vehicles and ancillary equipment to a high standard, ensuring reliability and compliance across site operations.
This hands-on role suits someone who takes pride in quality workmanship, values teamwork, and enjoys mentoring others. If you're confident with diagnostics, proactive in maintaining high housekeeping and safety standards, and keen to contribute to a positive and supportive maintenance culture, we'd love to hear from you.
Roster:
7/7, 12 hours per day (Dayshift only)

Peak Mine, Cobar NSW

Qualifications and experience
Minimum 2 years post-trade experience working on 4WD light vehicles (preferably Toyota)
Proven ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults using modern diagnostic tools
Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
Experience working in heavy industry or mining (desirable)
Air conditioning repair certification and/or auto electrical experience (desirable)
Current C Class Manual Driver's Licence
