This chance is suited to an experienced Software Engineer with strong DevOps, platform engineering and automation capability. You will work across development, testing, infrastructure and operations to improve software delivery, deployment and ongoing platform performance.
The Role
You will act as a key link between engineering, infrastructure, operations and system administration teams, helping turn source code into reliable, secure and deployable solutions.
Key responsibilities include:
Designing, building and maintaining automation for software builds, testing, deployment and infrastructure
Supporting continuous integration and continuous deployment processes
Managing platforms from development through to operational environments
Providing ongoing BAU support, including change, incident and service request management
Monitoring, maintaining and improving platform reliability and performance
Embedding security throughout the software development lifecycle
Designing and documenting architectures using recognised patterns and frameworks
Supporting the deployment, scaling, management and networking of containerised applications
Working across multidisciplinary engineering teams to solve complex technical problems
Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to meet project deliverables
About You
You will bring at least three years' experience in software engineering, DevOps, platform engineering or a related technical role.
You will ideally have:
Strong experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment




Experience automating software build, test and deployment processes
Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible
Strong configuration management and source control practices
Experience with at least one public or private cloud platform
Linux systems experience, preferably within RHEL environments
Experience with containerisation and orchestration platforms
An understanding of application development, build and deployment processes
Experience supporting legacy infrastructure and mixed technology environments
Development experience with object-oriented languages such as Java or .NET
Experience working within secure development environments
Strong documentation, troubleshooting and stakeholder communication skills
Familiarity with Cross Domain Solutions concepts and technologies will be highly regarded.
