Dental Assistant and Reception Dual Role

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Dental Assistant and Receptionist to join our friendly team at Smile Dental Team in Penrith, NSW. This is a casual role, offering versatile work arrangements to suit your lifestyle. As a Dental Assistant and Receptionist, you will play a vital part in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth running of our dental practice.

What you’ll be doing

Providing chairside assistance to dentists during procedures, ensuring a calm and efficient experience for patients

Sterilising and preparing instruments and equipment for dental procedures

Greeting and welcoming patients, booking appointments, and handling patient inquiries

Maintaining accurate patient records and following up on any outstanding treatments

Supporting the practice’s administrative tasks, such as filing, ordering supplies, and general office duties

Demonstrating a commitment to delivering high-quality customer service and patient care

What we’re looking for

Previous experience as a Dental Assistant and/or Receptionist beneficial, with an understanding of dental procedures and terminology





Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and team members

A friendly, customer-service oriented approach with a genuine interest in delivering exceptional patient care

Experience in dental assisting a benefit or customer service would be highly regarded
