Duty Manager | Assistant Manager Opportunity
Beenleigh Bowls Club is looking for an experienced Duty Manager to join our close knit management team. For the right candidate with the right level of experience, this role has the opportunity to be appointed at Assistant Manager level.
This is a full time, hands on management role working 38 hours per week. We are looking for someone who is confident leading a team, compliance minded, enjoys hospitality and can comfortably mix with all walks of life.

About the Role
As part of the management team, you will be responsible for the smooth day to day operation of the Club while on shift.
Leading and supporting staff throughout each shift
Overseeing day to day Club operations
Maintaining high standards of customer service
Ensuring gaming, liquor and Club compliance requirements are followed
Managing opening and closing procedures
Assisting with functions and Club promotions
Handling member and guest enquiries
Responding confidently to issues as they arise
Working closely with the wider management team
What We're Looking For
Minimum 2 years' managerial or supervisory experience within hospitality
Strong broader hospitality experience
RMLV and Manager's Licence desirable
Robust knowledge of compliance and responsible service requirements
Confidence leading staff and making decisions while on shift
Excellent communication and people skills
Ability to connect with people from all backgrounds and age groups
An interest in sport and the Club environment
A practical, hands on management style
Availability is essential.
The management roster includes both opening and closing shifts. The Club trades until 12am, so you must be available to work nights, weekends and public holidays as required.
