The Opportunity
WEM Water has a rewarding prospect for a
HIAB Truck Operator
to join the team.
We have a strong portfolio of work with multiple projects underway across Sydney's Northwest and Southwest.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver pipes, fittings, plant, and materials to pipeline construction crews across multiple project sites.
Operate a HIAB crane truck to safely load, unload, and position materials.
Load, transport, and unload plant and equipment, including 5‐tonne excavators.
Secure and restrain loads in accordance with transport and safety requirements.
Conduct pre‐start inspections and maintain vehicles and associated equipment in a safe and serviceable condition.
Maintain a sound understanding of pipeline construction materials and site operations.
Comply with all safety, quality, and environmental procedures.
Assist with other site duties as needed to ensure project timelines are met.
What We're Looking For:
Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role, or working under Sydney Water requirements
Valid HR Driver's Licence with flexibility to travel between job sites
The ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a team
Strong commitment to health, safety, environment and quality standards and practices
A proactive and positive attitude with the ability to use initiative
A construction white card
Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
Remuneration:
Competitive wage aligned with your experience + allowances + regular overtime
Fuel Card:
$600 monthly fuel card following successful completion of probation
