An exciting prospect exists for an experienced
Payroll Officer
to join a high-performing payroll team supporting a large national workforce. This is a fully onsite role based around 35 kilometres outside of Brisbane - Candidates must live within reasonable commuting distance and ideally have experience using SAP and SuccessFactors.
The Role
Key responsibilities may include (but not limited to) the following:
End-to-end payroll processing for a workforce of approximately
11,000+ employees and contingent workers
across weekly and fortnightly payroll cycles using
SAP
.
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records, including:
Personal and contact details
Banking information
Taxation and payroll-related records
Leave documentation
Remuneration review information
Responding to payroll enquiries from employees and leaders in a timely and professional manner.




Preparing payroll-related reports and assisting with payroll close activities and compliance requirements.
Supporting the ongoing integrity and accuracy of payroll data.
The Person
The ideal candidate will join bringing the following skills and prior experience to the table:
Strong administrative and organisational skills.
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, particularly
Excel
.
Previous payroll experience is highly regarded.
Exposure to payroll and HRIS platforms such as
SAP Payroll
and
SuccessFactors
would be advantageous
Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment.
Maintains professionalism and composure when managing competing priorities and complex enquiries.
