About the Company:

Our client is a national food and beverage manufacturer of globally renowned brands. With sites based across Australia, their Brisbane site is seeking aMicrobiologist for afull-time casual role with animmediate start! This role is on-going with the possibility of permanent.

About the Role:
Collecting samples of raw materials, in-process and finished products
Performing routine chemical and microbiological analyses in a high-volume laboratory
Performing environmental monitoring and testing
Operating, calibrating, maintaining and cleaning of laboratory equipment




Liaising with internal stakeholders in manufacturing and quality assurance team providing feedback in the daily meeting
Monitoring and reporting on results of laboratory tests
Maintaining a secure working workplace
Working within recognised quality frameworks

Skills & Experience:
Degree level qualifications in Microbiology (or equivalent) PLUS relevant experience in a food manufacturing laboratory;
Excellent microbiological skills
Knowledge of GMP and HACCP is advantageous;
Ability to accurately monitor and report on results of laboratory tests;
Ability to lift up to 10kgs;
