Typically, placements run for at least two weeks, although shorter spells of a week or even a weekend are not uncommon in locum work. The length of your placement also hinges on the specific type of position you're seeking. Locum specialities needed:
General Practice and GP/VMO Emergency Medicine Anaesthetic
Obstetrics Psychiatry Medicine

Valid AHPRA GENERAL or SPECIALIST registration to be able to take up these locum positions.
