SMW Group is a proud Central Queensland provider of field servicing, maintenance, shutdown support and emergency repair and rebuild services. With over 20 years of experience supporting the Central Queensland mining and heavy industry sectors, our teams deliver reliable, high quality outcomes across a range of projects and maintenance programs.
We are currently seeking Supervisors, Boilermakers and Mechanical Fitters to join our shutdown, down day and project crews.
Successful candidates will demonstrate a positive attitude, strong work ethic and the ability to work safely and efficiently with minimal supervision. A commitment to quality workmanship and maintaining high safety standards is essential.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Trade qualification as a Boilermaker or Mechanical Fitter
The ability to work safely within a team environment with strong attention to detail; and




A strong commitment to workplace safety procedures and site requirements
The following tickets and experience will be highly regarded:
Experience working on fixed and mobile plant
High Risk Work Licence (Forklift, EWP, Non-Slew Crane)
RIIWHS202E – Enter and Work in Confined Spaces
MSMWHS217 – Gas Test Atmospheres
RIIWHS204E – Work Safely at Heights; or
Standard 11
