The Role
We're looking for a detail-oriented, community-focused Leasing & Admin Coordinator to join our Kensington team on a part-time basis. This is a diverse, multifaceted role that blends leasing support with critical administrative and financial responsibilities — playing an important part in keeping the business running smoothly.
Based at Kensington, you'll also provide remote administrative support to The Switch Lachlan Macquarie Park, making clear communication and strong organisational skills essential.
What You'll Do
Leasing — The Switch Kensington
Manage and respond to sales leads in a timely and consistent manner, driving strong conversion outcomes
Conduct engaging property tours for prospective residents and stakeholders
Process new leasing applications, lease cancellations, and break-lease requests with accuracy and care
Lead and support rebooking and leasing campaigns to drive occupancy
Build and maintain relationships with residents, universities, and external partners
Assist with on-site marketing initiatives and tenant content creation




Process monthly agent commissions and monitor market conditions
Administration — Kensington & Macquarie Park
Monitor and manage tenant rent arrears, ensuring timely follow-up for overdue payments
Perform regular bank account reconciliations and end-of-month financial reporting
Handle real estate bond lodging and compliance
Process tenant refunds and manage extra revenue streams
Conduct monthly account clearing and audits across both properties
Develop and update policies and procedures to support operational consistency
General
Be the face of The Switch — delivering an exceptional, brand-led customer experience in every interaction
Assist the FOH and CA teams with check-ins, check-outs, inspections, and general tasks
Participate in an overnight on-call roster
About You
Proactive, self-sufficient, and highly organised with strong attention to detail
Experience in hospitality, student accommodation, co-working, or a similar customer-facing workplace is desirable
Strong with numbers — comfortable with financial administration, reconciliations, and reporting
Confident across leasing platforms, CRM systems, and property management tools
A natural communicator who connects easily with residents, partners, and the team
Genuinely passionate about community and bold, modern living
Comfortable working with Gen Z as your core customer — you understand how they think and what they value
