Our Richlands branch is looking for a passionate and experienced Service Trade Assistantto join the team!

The key responsibilities of this role will include but are not limited to:
Support equipment receiving, dispatch and yard operations
Manage and maintain the presentation of equipment within the yard
Assist with inventory control of equipment and attachments, including regular stocktakes
Safely move, position and organise machinery and attachments throughout the yard
Load and unload equipment, attachments and containers as required
Conduct pre-delivery and rental hire inspections on Vermeer and John Deere construction and forestry equipment (training provided)
Assist with equipment preparation and ensure machines are ready for sale, delivery or hire
Support parts deliveries and general branch operations when required




You will bring the following skills and experience to the role:
Forklift licence (essential)
Experience working around heavy machinery, construction, agricultural or industrial equipment
Chain of Responsibility training (highly regarded)
Previous experience in a yard, warehouse, transport or equipment handling role will be highly regarded
Strong attention to detail, particularly when managing inventory and stocktakes
Ability to work safely in a fast-paced outdoor environment
Highly organised with the ability to prioritise fluctuating workloads
Robust work ethic and team-focused attitude
