About the role

We have a fantastic prospect for a Building & Construction Senior Associate to join our growing, high performing, friendly and innovative Commercial Disputes team, which services a broad mix of clients including large corporations, SMEs, high net worth individuals, local councils and government.

About you

Our ideal candidate possesses:




5+ years PAE working on a variety of building and construction law matters including general building and construction disputes and general disputes, with strong front end experience
Strong knowledge of tribunal and court practice and procedure
Knowledge of SOPA legislation and experienced with adjudications (both for claimants and respondents)
Familiarity and experience with drafting and reviewing standard form and bespoke building contracts and preparing departure schedules
Working with building experts and report preparation on technical issues
Insolvency and general commercial disputes experience will be considered
Commercially astute and client focused
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
Robust research and troubleshooting methods
Excellence time management and ability to work to meet deadlines
Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
