Working closely with our Food & Beverage Manager, you'll help deliver high‐quality food preparation, barista service and customer experience within a busy corporate café environment.

You'll assist with breakfast and lunch service, prepare fresh food items, operate the POS system, maintain café presentation, and ensure all customers — staff, visitors and clients — receive friendly, professional service.
This role suits someone energetic, organised and confident working across both front‐of‐house and kitchen support, with a strong commitment to safety, cleanliness and customer care.
Key Responsibilities
Customer service— Provide friendly, professional service and build positive rapport with clients and visitors.
Food preparation— Prepare fresh rolls, fruit salad, muesli, sandwiches and other items as directed.
Breakfast & lunch service— Serve meals, operate POS/EFTPOS, manage coffee orders and support smooth service delivery.
Barista duties— Operate, clean and maintain commercial coffee machines, restock supplies and monitor daily milk usage.
Kitchen support— Assist with dishwashing, equipment cleaning, stock rotation and food preparation using commercial kitchen equipment.




Safety & compliance— Follow ISS safety procedures, report hazards, attend toolbox talks and adhere to food handling requirements.
Stock & equipment— Restock fridges, record fridge temperatures twice daily, monitor consumables and support stocktakes.
General duties— Complete assigned tasks with minimal disruption and support continuous improvement initiatives.
What We're Looking For
Excellent customer service and relationship‐building skills
Barista experience or willingness to learn
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Immaculate personal presentation and strong communication skills
Experience operating POS systems
Hospitality qualification or competency training (desirable)
