Maintenance Fitter (Food Manufacturing) - Afternoon Shift
We are seeking an experienced and motivatedMaintenance Fitterto join our PGD team.
In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and improving plant and equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient production operations.
Working as part of a collaborative maintenance team, you will carry out preventative and breakdown maintenance, diagnose mechanical faults, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance equipment reliability and minimise downtime.
Employment Type:Permanent full-time role.
Working Rights:You must have the right to work full-time in Australia.
Working Hours:Monday to Friday (PM Shift) 2:00pm - 10:06pm
Key Responsibilities:
Maintaining, control and diagnosing FMCG machinery such as mixers, conveyors, sensors, hydraulics, robotic machinery and packaging machines.
Inspect equipment, and systems to identify any issues.
Repair faulty and damaged equipment in a timely manner.
Plan and schedule repairs in MEX; manage, develop and monitor Preventative Maintenance ("PM") schedules in MEX
Troubleshooting mechanical faults, production breakdowns, production start-ups and operating setting.
Keep all workshop and toolboxes maintained, clean and inline with GMP and FSSC***** requirements
Ensure contractors adhere to all safety & GMP policies and procedures whilst onsite.

About You:
Relevant trade qualification (recognised in Australia)
Industrial Manufacturing or FMCG maintenance experience
Well-developed diagnostic and trouble shooting skills
Well-developed communication and computer literacy skills
Physically fit (with the ability to pass a pre-employment medical assessment).
