Alpha Fire Protection is looking for a full time Fire Alarm Technician to join our growing service team.

We are a growing fire protection company based in the Greater Brisbane area. Our team includes fire alarm technicians, electricians,sprinkler fitters and passive fire technicians, and we are looking for someone reliable who wants to become part of the team long term.

The role includes:
Fire detection system servicing, testing and inspections
Fault-finding fire indicator panels, field devices, loops, occupant warning interfaces and related dry fire equipment
Fire detection repairs, minor works and upgrades
Assisting with service requests and client issues
Recording explicit job notes, defects and recommendations
Working across commercial, industrial and high-rise residential sites
Communicating professionally with clients, builders, facility managers and other trades

What we are looking for:
An experienced Fire Alarm Technician who can service,



test and fault-find fire detection systems

Ideally, you will have:
Good customer service and communication skills
Ability to work independently once trained and familiar with our systems
Robust attention to detail
Reliable, professional and safety-focused approach
Willingness to keep learning and develop within the fire industry

Experience with systems including Notifier, Ampac, Pertronic, Siemens, Edwards or Brookes would be highly regarded, but is not essential for the right applicant.

38-hour working week

Major electrical tools and ladders supplied
Local Brisbane work (minor Sunshine Coast and Gold Coat work occasionally)
Service and minor works focus, with limited construction work
