Join the Medical Assessment Unit (MAU) and C4 East teams at Wollongong Hospital as an Enrolled Nurse, where you'll provide safe, compassionate and person-centred care to patients with a wide range of acute and complex medical conditions.
Working under the supervision of Registered Nurses and as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to patient care through observation, clinical support, communication and assistance with treatment and recovery.
MAU provides excellent exposure to acute patient care, early intervention, patient flow and discharge support, while C4 East offers experience across a broad range of medical specialties and complex care needs.
This combination provides a valuable opportunity to strengthen your clinical skills, expand your knowledge and build confidence in acute medical nursing practice.
You will be supported within a collaborative and learning-focused environment, working closely with nursing and medical teams, allied health professionals and educators.

A little about us.
Wollongong Hospital is the Illawarra Shoalhaven's major referral and teaching hospital and has a bed-base count of more than 500.
The campus, which incorporates the Illawarra Regional Cancer Care Centre, provides a comprehensive range of inpatient, outpatient and community-based services.
Wollongong is located an hour's drive south of Sydney on a narrow coastal strip bordered by the Royal National Park to the north, Lake Illawarra to the south, the Tasman Sea to the east and the Illawarra Escarpment to the west.
