Our Kitchen team is seeking an experienced Full time Cook to join the team at Comfort Resort Leura Gardens!
The Role:Permanent Full-Time position38 hours per week$75,000 – $80,000 per year About you:Excellent creative passion and skillEnsure a smooth service for their designated sectionMaintain excellent presentation standardsAbility to multi-taskExcellent problem solving skillsA great team player Reporting to the Head Chef, successful applicant will be responsible for the following:Prepare and present menu items showing variety and flair within the cost margins specified by the hotelEnsure strict stock rotation and minimum wastage.




Have stock control procedures implemented and maintainedPrepare and ensure availability of mise-en-place as requiredCheck that all cooked and pre-cooked foods are properly storedOrder necessary foods according to proposed business demands.
Consult with Head Chef for guidance and authorisation for orderLiaise with Restaurant Manager regarding availability of menu items, additions to the menu and any relevant changesKeep all working areas clean and tidy, ensure all equipment is serviced and maintained.
