About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced fixed plant Mechanical Tradesperson to join our team at Newcastle Agri Terminal, Carrington NSW.
This full-time position requires a flexible and proactive individual capable of performing a variety of mechanical tasks.
The role operates on a rostered Monday to Friday, 40-hour week, with opportunities for weekend overtime.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
Experience in Industrial installation and fault-finding
Previous experience in heavy industry
Experience with conveyor belt systems and associated equipment




familiarisation with electrical equipment in hazardous areas
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
Strong focus to safety, problem-solving and decision making
Desirable (but not essential) Qualifications:
Previous experience in the grain industry or similar materials handling environment
MSIC (Maritime Security Identification Card)
EWP over 11 metres
Confined Space entry qualifications
RISI (Rail industry safety induction)
Telehandler operations
Front End Loader operations
Rigger or dogman qualifications
