For more than 25 years, we have supported clients across mining, energy, infrastructure, government and industrial sectors through practical training, personnel, equipment and consulting services.
About the Opportunity
As RR+R continues to grow, we are expanding our network of Casual Trainers and Assessors across emergency response, medical, rescue, confined space, warden, safety and compliance disciplines.
This role is suited to experienced operational professionals who want to share their real-world knowledge and help others build capability, confidence and practical decision-making skills.
About the Role
Our trainers do more than deliver courses. They help people work safely every day and respond effectively when it matters most.
You may deliver hands-on training at RR+R facilities, client sites, mine sites, manufacturing plants, infrastructure locations or other high-risk workplaces. Delivery may include nationally recognised and non-accredited programs, depending on your experience and qualifications.
Location and Availability
The primary location for this opportunity is Wollongong, including delivery from RR+R facilities in Wollongong and Port Kembla. We are also seeking trainers and assessors who are available to support programs across other areas of NSW and QLD. While these opportunities are primarily casual, full-time options may also be available for suitable candidates as RR+R continues to grow.

Who We Are Looking For
We would like to hear from current or former firefighters, paramedics, registered nurses, industrial medics, emergency services personnel, mine emergency response team members, rescue technicians, WHS/HSE professionals, defence personnel, operational leaders, industrial trainers and assessors, and subject matter experts from high-risk industries.
Strong operational experience in your area of expertise.
Clear communication and facilitation skills.
Genuine interest in mentoring, coaching and developing others.
Commitment to safety, professional standards and practical training outcomes.
Current driver licence and ability to travel when required.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE***** or equivalent).
Experience delivering nationally recognised training or conducting competency-based assessments.
Current industry qualifications relevant to your discipline.
Experience delivering emergency response, medical, rescue, confined space, warden, safety, compliance or technical training programs.
Qualifications or experience in first aid, emergency care, workplace health services or industrial medical response are highly regarded.
