This is a hands-on operational engineering role with a robust focus on the Microsoft technology stack. You will support business-critical infrastructure, manage incidents and technical changes, and contribute to project delivery across cloud, hybrid and on-premises environments.
Key responsibilities
Administer and support Microsoft Azure infrastructure.
Manage Microsoft 365 services, particularly Outlook and SharePoint administration.
Support Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID, including identity, access and authentication services.
Administer and maintain Windows Server environments.
Support Azure networking and security services, including Azure Firewall, Network Security Groups, routing and VLANs.
Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, authentication, connectivity and application-support incidents.
Manage server patching, updates, monitoring, capacity and performance.
Plan and implement infrastructure and security changes.
Perform root-cause analysis and support the resolution of recurring incidents.
Work closely with internal technology teams, vendors and product squads.
Identify opportunities to improve automation, reliability and operational efficiency.




Maintain technical documentation, server inventories and change records.
What we are looking for
Strong hands‐on experience administering Microsoft Azure environments.
Experience supporting Microsoft 365, Outlook and SharePoint.
Strong knowledge of Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID.
Extensive Windows Server administration experience.
Experience with Azure Firewall, NSGs and wider network‐security concepts.
Good understanding of routing, firewalls, VLANs and enterprise network infrastructure.
PowerShell or similar scripting experience within Microsoft environments.
Experience supporting infrastructure in a large enterprise operations environment.
Strong troubleshooting skills across cloud, server, identity and networking technologies.
The ability to take technical ownership of incidents and infrastructure changes.
Desirable experience
Azure Administrator certification or equivalent AZ-104 knowledge.
Azure DevOps administration across Boards, Repos and Pipelines.
being hands‐on, can work independently and is comfortable taking ownership of infrastructure issues from investigation through to resolution.
