Machine Operator - Day Shift (6am - 2pm)

We're seeking an experienced and reliable
Machine Operator
to join our busy Wacol team on
Day shift (6:00am – 2:00pm)
. This is a full-time, permanent position offering long-term job security and growth opportunities opportunities.
The Role
In this fast-paced environment, you'll be responsible for operating and setting up machinery and equipment, and assisting with warehousing and distribution tasks using forklifts and overhead cranes.
What you'll do:
Operate and set up machinery and processing equipment
Handle, load, and move steel products safely using forklifts and cranes
Perform general warehouse duties and support dispatch operations
Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organised workspace




Work collaboratively with your team to meet production goals
What we're looking for:
Previous experience in a similar manufacturing or machine operation role
Current forklift licence (essential)
Experience with steel products or overhead cranes (advantageous)
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Reliable, motivated, and willing to learn
