We are seeking a Full-Time
Early Childhood Teacher

We are seeking an individual who is available Monday to Friday and is flexible to work 7.5/8-hour shifts between 6:45 am and 6:00 pm.

About the Centre
Oz Education Fairfield features six spacious rooms equipped with modern facilities and resources, creating a nurturing workplace for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years old. The centre is located on level 1, inside Fairfield City Central Shopping Centre.

Required Qualifications & Desired Skills
Holds an ACECQA-approved Early Childhood Education Degree
Valid Working with Children Check
National Police Check
Developed knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
Ability to form positive rapport with all children, families, management and educators
Ability to confidently and clearly communicate, relate and interact with children, families, management and educators

A demonstrated understanding of child protection and safeguarding responsibilities in early childhood settings
Knowledge of mandatory reporting obligations and relevant child protection legislation
Understanding of professional boundaries and appropriate behaviours when working with children
Ability to identify and respond to indicators of abuse, harm, or neglect
Knowledge of privacy and confidentiality requirements relating to children and families
Experience implementing child-secure policies and procedures
