About the role
We're looking for an experienced Electronic Security Technician to join our high-performing team in Rydalmere servicing Sydney area. This is a hands‐on role working across high-security environments, where reliability, compliance and technical expertise are critical.
This is not a routine service role.
You'll work on enterprise‐grade integrated security systems in live operational environments where professionalism, attention to detail and technical capability truly matter.
Reporting to the Service Manager, you'll be responsible for the service, maintenance, fault‐finding, testing and minor works across a broad range of electronic security systems.
The role offers an excellent mix of technical challenge, autonomy and purpose, with occasional travel as required.

What You'll Be Doing
You'll be responsible for the service, maintenance, fault‐finding, testing and minor works of electronic security systems across secure customer sites.
Your responsibilities will include:
Service and maintenance of electronic security systems
Fault diagnosis and rectification across integrated platforms
Minor works installation and commissioning
Compliance testing and system checks
Accurate service reporting and documentation
Working across live operational environments with professionalism and care
You'll be working with systems including:
Access control
CCTV and video management systems
Intruder detection
Intercom and entry systems
Integrated electronic security platforms
What we're looking for
We're keen to hear from technicians who have solid industry experience and enjoy working in complex environments where no two days are the same.
Ideally, you'll have:
Proven experience in electronic security service and maintenance
Strong fault‐finding and troubleshooting capability
Experience with enterprise or integrated security systems
Exposure to platforms such as
Geutebruck, Gallagher, Integriti, ICT, Milestone, Avigilon or similar
A current NSW driver licence
Good communication skills and a professional approach on site
Strong time management and the ability to work independently
Confidence using digital service platforms and mobile field apps
A good understanding of compliance documentation and reporting
The ability to meet site access and security clearance requirements for high security facilities
Highly Regarded
NSW security licence or willingness to obtain
Open cabling licence
Working at Heights and/or EWP tickets or willing to obtain
Experience working in correctional, government, healthcare, defence or other high-security environments
Appointment to this role is subject to the successful completion of a mandatory pre-employment Medical Assessment, Drug and Alcohol screening, and National Police Check. The successful applicant may also be required to obtain and maintain additional security clearances relevant to the role.
