St Maroun's College is seeking to employ an English Secondary Teacher. This is a full-time position with a flexible commencement date, to commence anytime from mid-August **** or Term 1, ****.
The preferred applicant will demonstrate the following criteria:
Able to teach 7-10 English
Ability to design and facilitate outcomes-based energetic and collaborative learning
Ability to incorporate ICT as an enabler and accelerator for student learning and professional learning
Can cater for the diverse learning needs of students in the context of 21st Century learning
Lead and use diagnostic data, summative data and formative data, including observations, annotations and work samples, to inform effective programming and assessment design




Demonstrated understanding of effective formative assessment and HIT strategies
Highly developed interpersonal skills demonstrating an ability to effectively communicate with parents, students and work effectively in a team environment
Demonstrate a strong commitment to the mission of Catholic Education and a willingness to actively support and promote the Catholic, academic and pastoral dimension of College life.
