Payroll Specialist - CBD

Our client is a respected air freight and logistics organisation with a strong presence across Australia and international markets. They are seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to manage the payroll function in the Brisbane CBD head office on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities
End‑to‑end payroll processing for approximately 150–180 employees.
Process both fortnightly and monthly payrolls accurately and on time.
Interpret and apply Awards and Enterprise Agreements (EA).
Process recent starters, terminations, leave and payroll adjustments.
Manage payroll queries and provide exceptional customer service to employees.
Ensure compliance with Fair Work, taxation, superannuation and payroll legislation.
Reconcile payroll reports and maintain employee records.
Assist with payroll reporting and month‑end activities.




Support ongoing payroll process improvements.

About You
Proven payroll experience in an end‑to‑end payroll position.
Robust knowledge of Award and Enterprise Agreement interpretation.
Experience processing both fortnightly and monthly payrolls.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities.
