It's time for our trains to be refurbished! & no better place for this to occur than in Newcastle, where they were originally manufactured 40 years ago... To assist with extending the life of the fleet, Protech are seeking 20+
Trade qualified Electricians
to work on a variety of critical system upgrades at our client facility based in Cardiff.
Duties will include, though are not limited too:
Modernizing on-board technologies
Improving safety & accessibility features
Installation of emergency help points
Upgrading passenger address system & CCTV
What we can offer:
Both day & afternoon shifts available
38 hour week, plus overtime when available
Clean, modern workshop with a high regard to the safety & wellbeing of employees
Generous EA pay rates
An assignment that is anticipated to run for 2 years




The prospect to be part of the most comprehensive rolling stock refurbishment of its kind!
Work is scheduled to commence in August.
