About the Role
In this role, you will undertake general maintenance, minor repairs, preventative maintenance, external cleaning, routine inspections, and vehicle-related support across Kambu Health sites. You will work both independently and collaboratively with staff and contractors to ensure our facilities remain safe, clean, and fit for purpose. This role is well suited to someone who is proactive, safety-focused, organised, and confident managing a broad range of practical maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out general maintenance, minor repairs, and upkeep across Kambu Health-owned properties
Maintain outdoor areas, yards, sheds, storage areas, and shared spaces to a safe and presentable standard
Complete routine property inspections and identify maintenance, safety, or repair requirements
Undertake scheduled external cleaning and support waste management across Kambu Health sites
Support the maintenance and presentation of Kambu Health vehicles, including cleaning, servicing coordination, and delivery or collection as required
Liaise professionally with staff, contractors,



and service providers to ensure maintenance requests are completed efficiently and safely
Follow workplace health and safety requirements, including safe use of equipment, chemicals, and maintenance procedures
What You'll Bring
Current C Class Driver Licence (mandatory)
Relevant trade qualification or demonstrated experience in general maintenance, repairs, property upkeep, or a related field
Sound knowledge of safe work practices, including equipment use, chemical safety, and Material Safety Data Sheets
Ability to follow emergency procedures and contribute to a safe workplace environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work respectfully with staff, contractors, clients, and community members
Good problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to completing tasks
Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and remain flexible to operational needs
A valid Blue Card / Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain (mandatory)
A current National Police Check or willingness to obtain (mandatory)
