Construction Testing and Quality Services (CTQS) is seeking motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our
two-year Laboratory Traineeship Program
.
We currently have
three trainee positions available
across our regional network:
Brisbane (Brendale)
Western Downs (Dalby)
Central Queensland (Capella)
What You'll Do
As a CTQS Laboratory Trainee, you'll gain practical, hands‐on experience across both laboratory and field environments while completing a nationally recognised qualification.
Throughout the program you will:
Complete a
Certificate III in Laboratory Skills
Perform laboratory testing on construction materials including soils, aggregates, concrete and asphalt
Undertake field testing on active construction projects
Learn industry testing methods and quality assurance proceduresLiaise with clients, contractors and other CTQS laboratories across Queensland
Work alongside experienced technicians and mentors who will support your development
Develop strong technical, communication and problem‐solving skills
As your experience grows, you'll also have opportunities to work on remote projects, including
FIFO/DIDO assignments

gaining exposure to major infrastructure and civil construction projects across Queensland.

Must hold a current Australian driver's licence
