About the Role
As a
Business Coordinator
, you will provide high-quality business, administrative and coordination support to The Office of the Victims of Crime Commissioner. The role plays an important part in ensuring the Office operates efficiently and can deliver on its statutory functions to promote and protect the rights of victims of crime across NSW. You can expect a wide-ranging role that supports day-to-day operations, including diary management for two Directors, correspondence tracking, meeting coordination, records management and business services.
You will join the Office of the Victims of Crime Commissioner within the Premier's Department. The division advocates for victims' rights, identifies systemic issues, supports implementation of the Charter of Victims' Rights, and drives improvements in outcomes for victims of crime across NSW.
We're Looking For
Organisational Excellence:
Demonstrated experience providing high-quality business support across administrative, financial, procurement, records management and office coordination functions.
Communication & Stakeholder Support:
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare correspondence, coordinate information requests and build effective working relationships with a range of stakeholders.
Planning & Prioritisation:
Proven ability to manage competing priorities, coordinate multiple activities and deliver quality outcomes within tight timeframes.
Technology & Systems:
Advanced proficiency using business systems and Microsoft Office applications, including electronic document and records management systems, spreadsheets and correspondence tracking tools.
Professionalism & Integrity:
Sound judgement, discretion and commitment to delivering accurate, confidential and customer-focused support services.
