We are an established and growing disability support provider seeking experienced Support Workers across Supported Independent Living (SIL) homes and supported accommodation settings.
Our services support adults with psychosocial, mental health, intellectual disability and daily living support needs. This role is suited to reliable, calm and professional support workers who are confident working in residential environments and looking for regular, meaningful work.
We have multiple locations across Sydney's Inner West and North Shore regions. This gives suitable workers the opportunity to access regular shifts across different residential settings, depending on availability, participant needs, and team fit.
About the Role
These are shift-based residential support roles that involve day-to-day support in Supported Independent Living homes and supported accommodation environments.
The role may include:
Supporting residents and participants with daily routines, personal care, hygiene and independence
Providing respectful support to adults with psychosocial, mental health and intellectual disability support needs
Assisting with domestic tasks, meal preparation and maintaining a safe living environment
Medication assistance and related documentation in accordance with policy
Supporting emotional regulation, positive routines and community participation
Community access and transport support where required
Completing accurate progress notes, handovers, incident reports and other required documentation
Identifying concerns and escalating them appropriately
Supporting dignity, privacy, choice, rights and confidentiality




Working professionally as part of a residential support team
Support workers may work across more than one location, depending on roster requirements, participant needs and worker suitability. Wherever possible, we aim to provide consistency for both workers and the people being supported.
Experience in SIL, residential disability support, assisted boarding houses, mental health, psychosocial support, aged care or community services will be highly regarded.
Shift Availability
We offer a range of rostered shifts, including:
Morning shifts
Afternoon shifts
Regular ongoing shifts for suitable applicants
Positions may commence on a casual or permanent basis during an initial onboarding and practical assessment period, with opportunities for ongoing permanent part-time or full-time employment for the right applicants.
To be considered for this role, applicants must have:
Minimum 12 months' hands‐on experience supporting adults within disability support, psychosocial support, mental health, aged care, residential care or community services
Confidence working directly with adults in residential or community support environments
Calm, respectful and professional approach to supporting people with psychosocial, mental health, intellectual disability or daily living support needs
Ability to complete documentation,



incident reporting and handovers accurately
Strong verbal and written English communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong professional boundaries, reliability and accountability
Ability to follow routines, support plans, policies and escalation processes
Genuine availability for rostered shifts, including some afternoons, sleepovers and/or weekends
Compliance Requirements
Current Australian Driver's Licence
Reliable, comprehensively insured vehicle
NDIS Worker Screening Check
Current National Police Check Certificate
Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
NDIS Worker Orientation Module
Medication competency/certificate
Full working rights within Australia
Work-related kilometres are reimbursed where applicable.
