Group Clinical Coordinator – Dental Group
Virago Group is a boutique dental group on a mission to change the dental industry. We are building Sydney's newest network of high-performing practices – and we believe there is a better way to do it.
We are not a corporate chain. We are a group that thinks big, holds itself to a high standard, and challenges itself to do better every day. Our four practices across Western Sydney – Perfect Dental (Fairfield), The Caddens Dental Bar (Penrith), Mount Druitt Dental Care, and Campsie Dental Spa – are the foundation of something larger we are actively building.
We are growing. We need someone who wants to grow with us.
About Us
Virago Group is a boutique dental group on a mission to change the dental industry.
The Role
This is a newly created role reporting directly to the founding Directors. We're looking for someone who already knows dental reception inside out, ideally with dental assisting experience as well, and who can lift the patient experience across all four practices from the front desk, not from behind a report.
You are the person patients notice – the presence at the front desk who sets the tone the moment someone walks in, coordinates the handover to the dental assistant and practitioner, and makes sure the treatment plan conversation actually happens properly.
Day to day, you will be responsible for:
Working the front desk across our four sites, modelling and lifting patient greeting, phone manner, and check-in standards

Managing the handover between reception, dental assistants, and practitioners so nothing falls through the gaps
Making sure treatment plans are presented clearly and followed up properly, patient by patient
Being the go-to person for patients, practitioners, and front desk teams when something needs sorting on the day
Feeding what's working – and what isn't – directly back to the Directors, so standards actually lift practice to practice
What We Are Looking For
We care more about how you think than the boxes you can tick. That said, you will need a genuine foundation to step into this role.
You probably have:
Solid experience on the front desk in a dental practice – dental assisting experience is a strong plus
A natural sense for how a patient should be greeted, guided, and followed up
Some experience with Google Workspace – basic Sheets and the like
The confidence to pull a teammate aside for a five minute one-on-one
Familiarity with practice management software – Praktika or similar is helpful, though we can work with the right person regardless
You are the kind of person who:
Notices a handover that's about to be missed and steps in before it happens
Sets the tone at the front desk just by being there
Would rather do the job well than write a report about it
Earns the trust of reception and DA teams quickly, because you've done their job
What We Offer
Work closely with the founding Directors of a group that is responsible about what comes next – and about the people who help build it
A real growth path, not the ceiling most dental groups put on a front desk career
If you've outgrown where you are, this is the group that gives you somewhere to go
$85,000 – $95,000 + super + performance bonus, commensurate with experience
Our Culture
We operate by three principles internally: Focus. Discipline. Courage. That is not decoration – it is how decisions get made and how we hold ourselves accountable.
Our teams are tight-knit. Our patients come back. We are proud of what we have built, and we are serious about what comes next.
