is a long established and highly regarded steel fabrication and mining company, working closely with our clients to conceptualise, design, fabricate and install products into sectors such as Infrastructure, Rail, Food, General Engineering, Water and Defence.
We are currently seeking a permanent Full-time Sheetmetal Worker who is reliable and experienced and will bring their positive approach to contribute to our future success.
About you:
Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications.
Select and prepare various sheet metal materials according to project requirements.
Utilize hand and power tools, including shears, brakes, punches, and drills, to cut, bend, and form sheet metal.
Operate welding equipment, such as MIG and TIG welders, to join metal components with precision and accuracy.
Ensure all welds meet quality standards and adhere to safety protocols.
Perform basic maintenance on tools and equipment.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.




Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve project deadlines.
Prioritize workflow through effective communication with management staff.
Have a skilled attitude with attention to detail.
Ability to follow safe work practices.
Currently holds an Australian Citizen or Permanent Residence
Ability to work within a team environment.
A great attitude and passion for their work!
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a welding and/or sheet metal fabrication environment.
Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding techniques and Sheetmetal work
Strong understanding of metal properties and fabrication processes.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
