We are seeking an experiencedSafety, Health, Environment and Training (SHET) Advisorto support our ongoing urbanproject sites.
Our Head Office is based atOrmeau, with our projects sites across SEQ.
We are currently looking for an Advisor who could service theRedland Bayarea.
This is a true boots-on-the-ground role where you won't be behind a desk all day.
You'll be visible on site, building strong relationships, influencing safe behaviours and motivating teams to do their best work, safely.
With multiple Urban sites to support, strong organisation, time management and the ability to build trust quickly are essential.
About the role
Working closely with Project Managers and site teams, you will help drive a positive safety culture and continuous improvement across our Urban projects.
Golding values practical, people-focused safety and encourages new ideas, innovation and ownership.
Key responsibilities
Building strong, trusted relationships through a visible and engaging site presence
Facilitating risk assessments aligned to project activities
Developing and championing project-specific SHE monitoring programs
Supporting and improving the application of SHET Management Plans
Providing practical SHE advice to Project Managers
Contributing to toolbox talks, pre-starts and site communications
Supporting inductions, incident reporting and investigations
Delivering SHET training and contributing to broader improvement initiatives
About you
You are a people-oriented safety professional who can influence, motivate and lead by example.
You are organised, adaptable and comfortable working across multiple sites in a quick-paced Urban environment.
You will bring
Diploma or Degree in Occupational Health and Safety
Project-based experience within the civil industry
Strong knowledge of SHET systems, legislation and risk management
Experience in risk assessments, audits, incident reporting and investigationsSupportive, down-to-earth team culture
