OVERNIGHT EQUINE NURSE ASSIST – Permanent Part-Time
Manly Road 24Hr Veterinary Hospital is seeking someone with a genuine passion for equine care to join our overnight team.
In this role, your primary focus will be the care and treatment of our hospitalised equine patients, including monitoring and administering medications.
This is a permanent overnight position, with generous shift penalties applicable.

Manly Road 24hr Veterinary Hospital is a privately owned, multi-faceted Veterinary Hospital located in the beautiful bayside suburb of Manly in Brisbane. We provide General Practice and 24hr Emergency care, as well as a range of pet medical and surgical services including ophthalmology, preventative care, orthopaedics, dental health, ultrasonography, endoscopy, and clinical pathology.
Our hospital is well-resourced with equipment and the latest technology to deliver the best in Veterinary Medicine and Surgery.
Examples of duties to be performed include:
Protected handling and care of equine patients
Administering medication to hospitalised equine patients
Assist with walking and toileting small animals if required
Providing client support, including answering phones and processing payments if required
General cleaning and maintenance
About you:
Available to work overnight shifts from 8:30pm to 6:30am
Confident and experienced in handling horses
Veterinary or general nursing experience an advantage but not essential
Proactive, reliable and willing to take initiative
Comfortable working independently while contributing positively to our team
