Our client is seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters with exposure to chemical plants, fuel terminals, refineries, or other high-risk industrial environments to support a growing workload based in Eagle Farm.
This is a temp-to-perm opportunity offering long-term stability and career growth.
We are also open to considering committed 3rd Year Mechanical Fitting Apprentices looking to further develop their skills in a specialised industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities
Perform maintenance and repair work on:Storage tanks (fixed and floating roofs)
Transfer pumps and meters
Pipeline systems
Vapour recovery systems
Filtration and additive systems
Conduct mechanical and energy isolations
Complete maintenance activities safely and efficiently
Work independently and as part of a team
Maintain strong safety, quality, and environmental standards
Skills & Experience




Fuel terminal and refinery environments are high-risk workplaces, so a strong commitment to safety is essential.
You will ideally demonstrate experience with:
Mechanical maintenance in industrial environments
Basic fabrication and instrumentation
Hazardous area awareness
Permit to Work (PTW) systems
Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures
Mechanical and energy isolations
Confined space entry
Hot work controls
Strong communication skills and work ethic
Tickets & Licences
Current Driver's Licence
Mechanical Trade Qualificationor Certificate II with relevant industry experience
White Card
Work at Heights (required)
Confined Space Entry & Gas Testing (required)
HRWL – EWP (desirable)
