We are a locally owned and operated business in the building and construction industry, proudly serving the Mackay region. With a strong reputation for quality and reliability, we’re looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team and support our continued growth.

The Role

This is a full time role (38 hours per week, Monday to Friday), with flexibility of hours available for the right candidate. As a valued member of our finance team, you’ll provide vital support to the management team while assisting with the day-to-day financial operations of the business. Your work will help ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance across all accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities
Accounts receivable
Assisting and backfilling Account Payable




Assisting and backfilling payroll processing and superannuation
Project reporting
Identify and implement process improvements
General administrative support as required

About You
3 - 5 years experience in a similar role
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., MYOB, Xero, or similar)
Strong attention to detail and time management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and organisational skills
