Quantum Library Supplies is one of Australia’s leading manufacturers of custom-made library and commercial furniture.
Due to continued growth, QLS is seeking an experienced CNC Operator / Programmer to join our team full-time at our Wakerley facility.
This role is best suited to someone with solid CNC programming and woodworking experience who enjoys working on high-quality custom furniture and cabinetry projects.
Key Responsibilities
Program and operate CNC machinery efficiently and accurately
Prepare and modify CAD drawings and CNC files
Generate cutting lists and assembly documentation
Interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
Work closely with production and operations teams to minimise rework and improve workflow efficiency
Assist with assembly and production of custom timber furniture and cabinetry
Maintain organised filing and backup systems for CNC and CAD operations
Previous experience using Enroute CNC software
Previous hands-on experience operating Multicam CNC machines
Strong knowledge of SolidWorks and SketchUp
Proven CNC programming and machining experience
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
Good communication skills and ability to work within a team
Highly Regarded
Cabinet making or shopfitting experience
Experience with custom timber furniture construction and assembly methods
Woodworking and laminating experience
Construction White Card / OH&S; site experience
