About the Role
We are seeking experienced Heavy Diesel Fitters to join our team.
You will enjoy a consistent 7/7 roster, competitive pay, and the prospect to work in a well-equipped, safety-focused environment.
Roster: 7/7 rotating day and night shifts (12 hours per day)
FIFO: Flights provided from Cairns and Brisbane
DIDO: Local candidates within 4 hours may DIDO using their own transport
Competitive rates + weekly pay
Superannuation paid on all hours worked

Current Coal Board Medical and Standard 11 (or willingness to obtain)
Employment Type: Casual (12 months) with high potential for ongoing work
Key Responsibilities
Work on Electric Haul Trucks (930e-2), Dozers (D10 & D11), Graders (16, 18 & 24)
Field service experience on Diggers, Drills, Rope Shovels, and Draglines
Diagnose, repair, and maintain mobile equipment to OEM standards
Assemble, fit, and install various components and equipment
Conduct quality checks to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards
Perform planned and breakdown maintenance in the workshop or field environments
Work independently while representing Wisely professionally and with a safety-first mindset
Complete accurate service reports and documentation for all work performed
Requirements
Trade Qualification – Cert III Engineering (Automotive Mechanics, Mechanical Fitters, HV / Auto Electricians, Mechanical trades & Diesel Fitters)
Demonstrated post-trade mechanical fitting experience
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills




Current Coal Board Medical & Standard 11 (or willingness to obtain)
Current driver's licence
Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
