We are currently seeking Qualified Diesel Mechanics to join a high-performing workshop team. The Opportunity
Working within a modern workshop environment, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a broad range of heavy vehicles and equipment to the highest standards.
This role would suit a qualified Diesel Mechanic with approximately 2–3 years post-trade experience.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults
Complete breakdown repairs and troubleshooting activities
Perform inspections and identify prospects for preventative maintenance
Maintain accurate service and repair documentation
Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with manufacturer standards
Contribute positively to a collaborative and customer-focused team environment
About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess:
Trade qualification as a Diesel Mechanic / Heavy Vehicle Mechanic
Approximately 2–3 years post-trade experience
Solid diagnostic and fault-finding capability
Experience working on heavy vehicles, trucks, buses, earthmoving or related equipment
Current driver's licence
Commitment to workplace health and safety
Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
