We're now looking for a 5 + years PAE Lawyer experienced in Commercial Leasing to join our team in Bundall.
What You'll Do
As an experienced member of our Commercial Property team, you'll help to lead a diverse commercial leasing practice and work closely with our Partners to deliver practical, commercially focused advice to a broad range of clients.
Your responsibilities will include:
Managing a diverse portfolio of commercial and retail leasing matters from instruction through to completion.
Drafting, reviewing and negotiating Commercial Leases, Retail Shop Leases, Agreements for Lease, Subleases, Licences, and other leasing documentation.
Advising landlords and tenants on lease negotiations, renewals, options, assignments, variations, surrenders, defaults, make good obligations, and leasing disputes.
Providing strategic and commercially focused advice across office, retail, industrial, and mixed-use developments.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with our established portfolio of commercial landlords, developers, property managers, and tenants.
Leading and mentoring an experienced team of paralegals, supporting their development while ensuring matters progress efficiently.
Managing files with a high degree of autonomy while maintaining exceptional client service and attention to detail.




Contributing to the continued growth of our Commercial Leasing practice through business development, networking, and strengthening long-term client relationships.
What You'll Bring
5+ years PAE in commercial property, specifically leasing.
Demonstrated ability to independently manage a broad range of leasing matters from commencement through to completion.
Exceptional drafting, negotiation, and technical legal skills.
A practical, commercially minded approach to providing legal advice.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor junior lawyers and paralegals.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with a genuine commitment to outstanding client service.
Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities.
