Job Description

You are joining Kinexus as a Recruitment Consultant in our Melbourne office, focusing on Defence, Engineering and ICT recruitment. You will start with candidate‑focused recruitment and progress to a full 360 consultant, owning a desk and building lasting client and candidate relationships.

Key Responsibilities
Identify talent across Defence, Engineering and ICT.
Source candidates nationally for a broad range of Defence, ICT and Engineering projects.
Develop a network of ex‑ADF and Defence personnel.
Connect with security‑cleared technical and engineering professionals across Australia.
Create talent pools and build strong social presence.

Skills and Experience Required
Previous experience in recruitment, proactive sales, business development or cold calling.
Passion for technical roles.
Confident communicator capable of building rapport and influencing others.
Resilience, tenacity and a solid work ethic.
Proactive,



self‑motivated approach with drive to achieve results.
Comfortable working towards targets and KPIs in a results‑driven workplace.
Understanding of the recruitment process.
Excellent organisational and time‑management skills.
Ability to learn quickly and develop expertise in a specialist industry.
Team player who enjoys collaboration while taking ownership of success.
